Mrs Lesley Jenks (f)
Lesley qualified in 1998 after studying at Liverpool University and completing her nurse training. Lesley went on to complete her Paediatric Degree in 2003. Lesley has previously worked in the West Midlands for 16 Yrs and went on to work in New Zealand for 8 years before returning back to her roots in Oldham. Lesley's main role within the Practice is to monitor the health of patients with chronic diseases. Her other duties include health screening, health promotion, vaccinations and child health. Lesley is the Immunisation Lead and the Infection Prevention and Control Lead for the practice. Additionally she is the End of Life Care Coordinator and the Dementia Champion within the practice. Lesley is also responsible for ensuring that clinical targets are met and for the delivery of local enhanced services and public health campaigns. Lesley is keen to address health inequalities and is actively involved in promoting the health and well being of disadvantaged individuals. |
