Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In person/by post - please tick the right hand side of the prescription print out and either place in the box at reception or send it in the post (include a SAE and we will return it by post).
  • By fax – to 0161 621 3637
  • Online – follow the link at the top of this page to register for our online service.

Telephone requests are not accepted.

The above conditions will be waived for certain patients i.e. the terminally ill.

We can send your prescription direct to the chemist. There is a pharmacy based on the premises.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
